Oil Painting Timeline – Important Notice

Oil paintings require a natural curing period before final varnishing to meet museum and conservation standards.

Collectors are advised to contact Maria at least 7 months in advance to receive a fully finished bespoke portrait or figurative painting in oils. The final 6 months are essential for proper drying and varnishing and cannot be expedited.
