I’m more of a wildlife artist with a passion for the wild and the unique creatures that inhabit it. Through my art I bring the beauty of the natural world to life on canvas. I am a firm believer in the power of the outdoors and its ability to invigorate, inspire and heal.
Living in the wild has been an advantage for me as it allows me to get to know and appreciate the wildlife and nature around me. I care a great deal about these animals and have been passionate about them since I was a child. I love to capture them in my art, as I believe it's the best way to show my admiration and preserve their beauty.
Wild Water Buffalos are a majestic species of animal that have been around for centuries and are currently endangered.
My husband usually takes a walk early in the morning before dawn and one day he came up with a photograph of a lonely and seemingly friendly wild water buffalo he crosses every day. I was immediately inspired and knew I wanted to capture this majestic creature on my canvas. However, before I finished the piece, I heard the tragic news of hunters killing this gentle giant.
I use my platform to share stories, facts and information about the species, in hopes of inspiring others to take action. I am passionate about ensuring that these creatures thrive, and are not driven to extinction. My heart still cries for this gentle giant and try my level best to educate the people around me on the importance of having these creatures with us on this planet.
In honor of the wild water buffalos, I strive to create more art that captures the beauty of their spirit and preserves the memory of these animals.
